About Puget Soundkeeper

Puget Soundkeeper’s mission is to protect and enhance the waters of Puget Sound for the health and restoration of our aquatic ecosystems and the communities that depend on them. We monitor Puget Sound water quality, enforce the Clean Water Act when the agencies responsible fail to uphold the law, and help set strong policies and regulations that protect our waterways and our health. Soundkeeper engages Puget Sound communities and corporations in waterway cleanups and recovery projects, and works to get information to the public about local water pollution issues.

Soundkeeper is a founder, licensed member, and leader in the Waterkeeper Alliance, which has over 330 member organizations on six continents defending communities’ right to clean water. The Waterkeeper network represents one of the largest, fastest growing, and most influential environmental movements in the world

With your help, Soundkeeper will:
Provide paid training for 50 youth leaders to build skills in outreach, stewardship and advocacy.
Lead on-water pollution monitoring every week and train volunteers on pollution detection.
Conduct field investigations (including salmon mortality monitoring, microplastics analysis, water quality assessments, legacy debris geotagging, and more).
Host community-based shoreline and on-water cleanups to remove thousands of pounds of marine debris from local rivers, streams, and waterways.
Hold industrial polluters accountable through legal action.

Our future depends on Clean Water. That's why Bisou Bisou Skin is donation a portion of profits to the non-profit Puget Soundkeeper. If you can get involved with your time or financially, please consider.
